Meet Pavol Fabry, ACMT, BTEC6

(Owner and Lead Therapist)

Hi, I’m Pavol, an Advanced Clinical and Sports Massage Therapist and the founder of Clinical Massage Milton Keynes (formerly Mobile Massage MK). Originally from Slovakia, I’ve been calling the UK home for over 20 years now. My journey into massage therapy began with a personal struggle – a gym injury that left me with a bulged disc and severe lower back pain.

The day after the injury, even the simplest movements were excruciating. Painkillers provided only temporary relief, and the long wait for an MRI forced me to seek alternative solutions. While chiropractic treatments worsened my condition, acupuncture and physiotherapy brought some much-needed relief. These experiences taught me that true recovery isn’t just about therapy sessions; it’s about daily management and holistic care.

Driven by my own journey and passion for helping others, I am now fully qualified in various advanced massage techniques, often combining them to achieve the best results quickly for my clients. I specialise in treating chronic pain, including lower back pain, sciatica, neck and shoulder pain, migraines, and headaches. Whether you’re recovering from an injury, dealing with stress, or simply looking to improve your physical fitness, I’m here to help.

In March 2023, I completed my BTEC Level 6 qualification in Advanced Clinical and Sports Massage at the Jing Advanced Massage School. My dissertation focused on headaches, reflecting my commitment to understanding and alleviating pain.

My approach is holistic – I assess how your entire body is functioning rather than isolating individual parts. This comprehensive perspective is key to achieving whole physical fitness and a pain-free life. I’m dedicated to guiding you towards a pain-free existence, sharing the lessons I’ve learned through my personal and professional journey.

At Clinical Massage Milton Keynes, we use a range of techniques including Trigger Points, mindfulness, and simple mobilisations. Don’t worry about the technical terms – all these techniques are designed to be easy and effective. My goal is to not only relieve your pain but also to empower you with the knowledge and tools to maintain your health every day.

I look forward to working with you on your path to recovery and well-being.

What I’m Up to These Days

When I’m not helping clients on their journey to recovery, I’m enjoying a few passions that keep me grounded and energised.

After nearly two years away from football, I’ve recently joined a local veterans’ team. Football has been a lifelong passion of mine – I even fulfilled my childhood dream of joining a pro team in Slovakia at 17. Unfortunately, a knee injury and a stint in the army at 18 cut my professional career short, but I’m thrilled to be back on the pitch again.

These days, Pokémon trading cards have also taken over my life – thanks to my son! He competes in national and international tournaments, and our house often feels like a training ground as we prepare for the next big event.

I’m also a huge fan of cold plunges, cold showers, and the fasting lifestyle. My longest fast so far has been 72 hours on water alone, and it’s been an incredible way to reset both mind and body.

On the days when I do eat, cooking becomes my meditation. I love experimenting in the kitchen and sharing a great meal with Zuzana, often paired with a glass (or two) of good red wine.

And when I need to decompress, you’ll find me in the garden. Growing my own vegetables is not only rewarding but also a fantastic way to clear my mind and stay connected to nature.
